Sad to say we are still sick here in the Starfire house. Just Tuesday we took Oldest house elf(7yr) to Doc and he said that she has H1N1. Yeah, I was freaking! Well turns out it's just like the reg flu, but higher temps and lasts a lil longer. Ok can deal with that, I guess.... today she is fever free(so far) and is playing. Our younger house elf(6yr) now has the flu. She doesn't have the super high fevers, only 101-102, but she is in pain. I feel bad cuz she just had the tummy flu, now she has this! Thankfully DH hasn't gotten real sick, it's only been us girls sick for the past 2 weeks.
Everyone is sick around here. I see on the news all the time lots of school closings, events being canceled, and even church meeting closing due to illness. This is nuts!
It makes me think, what do others do when they or their kids get sick? Have movie marathons, make tons of chicken noodle soup, or nothing at all? Just wondering. Set up camp in our king size and watch rented movies(really the only time we rent movies). Lots of freezer pops, and spill-proof cups full of flavored water.
Well I better go, it's nap time now.
I'm sorry I haven't been around much. I am hoping everyone will be feeling better and things will be normal by next week. : )
:-( I'm so sorry the elves are not doing well. When my boys are sick, I do lots of fresh fruit, bath time, movies, juice, coloring and hugging. Any type of sit still activity to keep them resting. It sucks!
