Wow! It sure has been a busy and fun so far! This is sweetie showing off his new goggles! In the background you will see my two lil swimmers!
If you have seen my FB then this is the purse I was talking about. No, it's not a swap bag. This was just for fun. I made it out of some left over fabric from a quilt. Still working on the quilt, I have most of the blocks cut, just need to sew everything up. I have a lot of time left for that though. I'm not sure I like how this bag turned out, but I learned a lot from it!
And THIS. I was so happy to open this! The card itself is so neat. I just love the color combo of the yarn. I am still looking for the perfect pattern for this super yummy yarn!
Just the other week I got to hang with my lil bro and sis. This is me and sis tanning our legs at the beach. That's lake Mi in the background. The water was too chilly(60) that day to go swimming. You could walk and let the water lap at your toes though.
This was so cool to see. The boat was called the Baby Duck(I think). They came right up next to us and picked up more friends. BTW- that's the White Lake channel in the background.
Here's bro and sis getting the hang of the 2seater bike. It took awhile, but they got it. Good thing no one got a picture of me ridding on it later...not good! LOL
Here we all are ridding on the Hart Montague Bike Trail. In this here, we're going under the road. Rose(right in front of me) slowed way down to get a good look. She really had to pedal her butt off to keep up with everyone. LOL
And on the last day of their visit we went to the Silver Lake Dunes. We had a great time. Bro ended up not feeling well so we called it a day, but not before going up test hill 4 times. We went up backwards too. We didn't make it all the way the first run, but the next 3 we did! The sand was very, what we call, sugary, or not packed. Here we were letting the Dune buggy(old dodge ram charger) cool down on top of Test hill. Too bad I didn't get a pic of the others beside us.Now I am about to get ready to take the girls to the park, and then to their fav old fashioned soda shop. Then tonight is what I am the most giddy for...I am going to FINALLY go see the HBP!! I'm happy that I get some time out with adults, no kids, but I am soo geeked about seeing the movie!! I just can't wait!!
Well, that's all for now. Hope you liked my picture show! ; )
Sorry I haven't been keeping in touch often! It looks like you're having a fabulous summer! :D
